What we collect

Account data — your name, work email and workspace name when you sign up. Your CRM data — the contacts, companies, deals, notes and activities you choose to add. Operational data — basic logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use it

To provide and secure the product, to support you, and to improve how seals.deals works. We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your CRM for advertising.

Where it lives

Your workspace is isolated from every other customer with row-level security at the database layer, so one account can never read another’s data. Data is encrypted in transit. We rely on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting and a managed Postgres database) to operate the service; the full list of subprocessors is in the app under Settings → Privacy & data processing.

Accounts you connect: Microsoft, Google and Zoom

Each person in a workspace can choose to connect their own Microsoft 365 (Outlook), Google or Zoom account to seals.deals. Nothing is read from, or sent to, any of them until that person connects it, and each connection reaches only that person’s own account. Access tokens are stored encrypted and used only for the features below. Disconnecting in seals.deals revokes or deletes them.

Microsoft (Outlook) — mail and calendar. With Outlook connected, seals.deals sends the quotes and emails you write from your own address; reads your inbox and sent mail and keeps only messages exchanged with your customers (contacts and company domains already in your workspace — never newsletters, colleagues or personal mail); reads your calendar to show it to you and to log meetings that have a customer as a guest (time, title, place, link and guests — never descriptions or attachments); and adds meetings booked through your scheduling pages to your calendar. Everything else in your mailbox and calendar is read only to apply those rules and is never stored.

Google — Gmail sending and Google Calendar. With Google connected, seals.deals sends the quotes and emails you write in seals.deals from your Gmail address, reads your Google Calendar to show it to you and to log meetings that have a customer as a guest (as above), and adds meetings booked through your scheduling pages to it. seals.deals does not read your Gmail messages.

Zoom — video meetings.With Zoom connected, seals.deals reads your Zoom user ID and email once, to show which account is connected, and creates, moves and deletes a Zoom meeting for each booking made through your scheduling pages. Zoom receives the meeting’s title (which can include the guest’s name), its time, length and time zone. seals.deals does not read your other meetings, recordings or chats. Removing seals.deals from your Zoom account deletes your stored Zoom tokens straight away. See Zoom for seals.deals.

This website

This marketing site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking — no Google Analytics, no pixels, no third-party scripts. Nothing you do here is profiled, sold or shared for advertising.

To show prices in your currency we read your device’s time zone— for example “Europe/Madrid” — inside your own browser. It is never sent to us and never stored on our servers. This needs no permission because nothing leaves your device.

We also ask whether you are happy for us to work your country out from your IP addressinstead, which is a little more accurate. An IP address is personal data and resolving it means sending it to a location provider, so we only do it if you say yes. If you say no — or ignore the question — the site behaves identically and prices still appear, from the time zone. You can change your answer any time from “Privacy choices” in the footer.

Your answer, and any currency you pick by hand, are stored in your browser’s local storage so we can honour them on your next visit. Clearing your browser data removes both. We do not keep a copy.

Server logs

Like any website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider that records standard request logs — including IP address — for a short period to deliver pages, keep the service available and defend against abuse. That is a technical necessity of serving a website rather than something we analyse, and we don’t use those logs to profile visitors or to decide what price you see.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law (and Turkey’s KVKK) you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you; to have it corrected; to have it deleted; to restrict or object to how we use it; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email hello@seals.deals and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

The contacts, companies and deals in a workspace belong to the organisation that runs it, which decides how they are used; we process them on its behalf. If you are in someone’s seals.deals workspace and want to exercise these rights, ask that organisation first. We will help it answer, and you can always write to us.

Your choices

You can access and edit your data anytime inside the app, export it, or ask us to delete your workspace entirely. Reach us at hello@seals.deals and we’ll help.
