Zoom for seals.deals

Last updated 14 October 2026

seals.deals scheduling pages let people book a meeting with you from a link — an onboarding call, a demo, a review. With Zoom connected, every booking gets its own Zoom meeting: the join link goes into the calendar invitation and the confirmation email, the meeting moves when the booking is rescheduled, and it is deleted when the booking is cancelled.

What you need

  • A seals.deals workspace, and a seals.deals user in it.
  • A Zoom account (any plan) that can schedule meetings.
  • A calendar connected in seals.deals (Outlook or Google), which is where bookings are placed.

Adding Zoom

  1. Sign in to seals.deals and open Calendar.
  2. Under Your calendars and video, choose Connect Zoom.
  3. Sign in to Zoom if asked, review what seals.deals may do, and choose Allow. You return to the calendar with Zoom listed as connected.

Each person connects their own Zoom account. Nobody in your workspace can use your Zoom account, and no Zoom admin approval is needed.

Using Zoom with a scheduling page

  1. Open Calendar → Scheduling pages and open a page (or create one).
  2. On the Overview tab, set Video call to Zoom and save.
  3. Share the page’s link. When someone books, seals.deals creates a scheduled Zoom meeting at the booked time (waiting room on, no joining before the host) and puts its join link in the invitation and the emails.

If the person moves the booking from their manage link, the Zoom meeting moves with it. If they cancel, the Zoom meeting is deleted.

What seals.deals does in your Zoom account

  • Reads your Zoom user profile (your Zoom user ID and email address) once, when you connect, to show which account is connected.
  • Creates, updates and deletes meetings — only the meetings it made for bookings through your scheduling pages. It does not read, change or delete any other meeting, recording, chat or contact.

Zoom receives the meeting’s title (which can include the guest’s name), its start time, length and time zone. Your Zoom access tokens are stored encrypted and used only for the actions above. See our privacy policy.

Removing Zoom

Either of these ends the connection:

  • In seals.deals: Calendar → Your calendars and video → Zoom → Disconnect. seals.deals revokes its access at Zoom and deletes your stored tokens.
  • In Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, find seals.deals and choose Remove. Zoom tells seals.deals, which deletes your stored tokens straight away.

Meetings already created stay in your Zoom account until you delete them. Scheduling pages set to Zoom stop adding a Zoom link until you connect again; bookings still arrive in your calendar.

Troubleshooting

  • “Reconnect” next to Zoom — Zoom no longer accepts the stored access (for example, the app was removed in Zoom or your password changed). Choose Reconnect and allow access again.
  • A booking has no Zoom link — Zoom was not connected, or did not answer, when the booking was made. The booking is still in your calendar; add a link to it by hand if needed.
